Glasswing International

Glasswing International is a nonprofit organization founded in 2007 in San Salvador, El Salvador, by Celina de Sola, her brother Diego de Sola, and her husband Ken Baker. The organization aims to address the root causes and consequences of poverty and violence in Latin America and the Caribbean through community-led education, health, and youth empowerment programs. ​

Operating in countries such as Mexico, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Costa Rica, and Panama, Glasswing collaborates with the public and private sectors, as well as civil society, to implement its programs. The organization's initiatives focus on strengthening public education and health systems, mobilizing and empowering communities, and providing opportunities for children and youth to thrive.

Glasswing's mission is to empower youth and communities, fostering change by investing in existing strengths and resources to create a safer and more prosperous future for all. The organization has received recognition for its impact, earning a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator.
